Breathtaking nature, adventure and comfort in a unique experience.
Want to experience Patagonia in a different way?
Hop on a horse and set out to explore it the old-fashioned way.
This experience combines nature, adventure, incredible landscapes, and a touch of gaucho tradition. Because Patagonia is a joy to explore… but on horseback, it’s a whole different experience.
The adventure begins at the historic main building of Estancia 25 de Mayo, where we’ll meet the team, receive a brief safety briefing, and get ready to set out.
You don’t need to be an expert rider: the guides will accompany you throughout the entire ride.
And now…
Let’s ride!
For about an hour and a half, we ride through the Estancia 25 de Mayo Nature Reserve, passing through landscapes that look like they’re straight out of a movie.
We’ll pass through:
🌄 Ravines
💧 Streams
🪨 Geological
formations 🌿 Patagonian steppe landscapes
The ride takes us south, through the Cañadón del Arroyo Calafate, a wind-sheltered area where you can really take in the scenery.
And the best part is that everything looks different from atop a horse.
After the ride, we arrive at one of the most special spots on the route: the Cueva del Arroyo.
And here we take a break.
The ranch’s gauchos prepare an authentic country lunch, in true Patagonian style.
Food, a fire, the scenery, and a glass to toast with. 🍷🔥
Because after a good horseback ride, sitting down to eat like this tastes even better.
After lunch, we head back to the ranch’s main building.
A leisurely ride to enjoy the final views and wrap up a unique experience, far from the noise and traditional tours.
