Breathtaking nature, adventure and comfort in a unique experience.
When night falls, Patagonia reveals one of its greatest treasures: a clear, vast sky filled with stars. On this tour, you’ll travel to Estancia La Catalina, a special place far from any light pollution, where you can gaze upon the universe as it’s rarely seen.
Guided by an astronomy expert, you’ll learn to identify constellations, planets, nebulae, and the Milky Way while discovering fascinating stories about the cosmos and the mythology of the indigenous peoples of the Americas.
A unique evening, perfect for sharing with your partner, friends, or family.
9:00 p.m. We’ll pick you up at your hotel, home, apartment, or even the restaurant where you’re having dinner (by prior arrangement).
From El Calafate, we’ll travel approximately 30 km along Provincial Route No. 11 until we reach Estancia La Catalina, the perfect setting to enjoy one of the most spectacular skies in the world.
10:00 p.m. Upon arrival, the guide will give a brief introduction so you can better understand everything you’ll be observing throughout the night.
Then the stargazing session with telescopes will begin, where you’ll be able to admire the Moon, planets, star clusters, nebulae, and deep-space objects.
In addition to observing the sky, you’ll learn to identify constellations, navigate by the stars, and discover fascinating facts about the universe that will make this experience truly unforgettable.
At the end of the activity, we’ll take a group photo as a souvenir, included at no additional cost.
12:00 a.m. After experiencing an unforgettable night under the stars, we’ll return to the hotels in El Calafate.
